i have a 1989 chevy blazer 1500 with a 350 5.7L v8. my transmission has a square pan with 16 bolts. on the driver side it has the shift linkage and a 4 pin power line. and it has the number 7 stamped into it. on the passenger side it has the speedometer cable 2 coolant lines the dipstick and a hard tube that looks to connect to the top of the motor to a piston that gets compacted when the throttle is pressed. it also has a number 7 stamped into the side. the bell housing has a lower half that is bolt on.
i don't have a camera to take pictures of it. i am betting that its not a 350 trans and that its probably not a regular 700r4 it might be a 700r4e but i don't know enough to know the difference.
