Broken ignition actuator. How to reinstall on a 1982 GMC Serra 1500. The actuator looks like a tuning fork. I’m at the point to cut off the plastic shroud around the column so I can hopefully figure out how to install.

Might I recommend when you start a discussion on a thread to see it through. You asked the same question on a separate thread then abandoned it only to ask again by starting this thread.

I checked on the previous thread several times after I asked what part you were calling an actuator and got no response.
