U.S. Space Force is an entirely separate military branch.

SpaceX is a private company.

Space Force falls under the department of the Air Force, but is not a "Division of the Air Force". There is an overarching "Department of the Air Force" that then has a U.S. Air Force branch and U.S. Space Force branch under that umbrella. Just like the Marine Corps falls under the Department of the Navy. Don't ever let a Marine hear you say he's in the Navy...
