Yeah absolutely, I know the passenger side tank is disconnected probably because the valve broke or whatever. I've heard that's a common issue with these trucks.Play with all the switches and knobs see if there's anything that doesn't work ie. wipers, washer, heater settings, if it has the auxiliary tank flip the switch back and forth see if you can hear the solenoid click. Will give you an idea of any items that may need repaired right away rather than buying it and find out the first time it rains the wipers don't work or there's an issue with the blower motor or like in my case a full tank of gas you can't switch too.
Yeah absolutely I am going to check those things. As it looks right now everything is solid, I believe.Driveline and frame (flex at the steering box) is all I would be worried about with your description. If the cab is fine except the corners and the bed floor is fine you should be fine.....again if like you said it's a steal. Fenders, doors, rocker panels, and complete bedsides can be had.....complete bedsides being the most expensive.
Of course you can weld in patch panels on the above mentioned items.
Absolutely!Welcome from Austria. If it runs, drives, stopps and has no cracked frame go for it.
Yeah I do say so as well.If you can daily drive a 1973 C25 with minimal investment after the purchase, that is a pretty rare find.
