Well got two coolant leaks repaired and had to replace my coolant temp gauge yesterday. Than had a transmission line pop off on the way home tonight.

Still amazed at what this simple rag joint has done to my daily driving experience. Feels like I put new shocks on Or what most think a steering stabilizer would do for steering. All the bumps in the road are very close to non existent even tho I changed out all moving front end parts that didn't help rude comfort. Wow just wow

I put one on mine about 3 months ago and it helped a lot. Not afraid to pass cars on 2 lanes anymore.

These came in today. Will install them tomorrow. It'll be nice to actually see more than 5 feet in front of me

- Cam, timing gears/chain and cover installed.
- Block painted blue again

Was hoping to get the harmonic balancer on but the kit I got won't work. DIY time tomorrow.

I fixed a binding vacuum advance in the distributor so now the truck has much better takeoff power and I barely have to put my foot on the throttle at cruising speeds. Gas mileage seems to be a little better.
I adjusted the driver's door and put on a new latch striker bolt. Someone had lowered it all the way to the bottom of the holes. I used to have to slam it at least twice to close it and rain leaked in from the top. Now with minimal effort it closes easily and no more water dripping in, well from there anyway.
I also washed/waxed the truck cleaned the interior really well, polished the paint below the door panels and dashboard bottom. I detailed the instrument panel and steering column too.
Took it to get a front end alignment and found out the upper left control arm bushings are worn. I think that I'll be putting that repair off for a bit. It's always something with an old vehicle.

For the guys that were wondering. This is what they look like on the road. May be a lot of money for some but more than worth it to me
