Your seats are white? Never seen that in an 80's truck before.

Seats are from an 84 K5, recovered in grey. Probably just the lighting, sun was directly behind me when I snapped pic.

I like that tire carrier, now I want one! It would have to be able to hold at least a 38" tire. I also contemplated trying to find those sporty plastic Subaru Brat seats that go in the back, and mount them in my bed. People rarely want to ride along and usually if I have my woman, cooler and her crap there's no room.

Same one I used in the bed of my 2500HD, but only recommended for up to 35".

Lookin good Jerry. :grd:

Well yesterday I started to hear a tap tap leak out of the exhaust somewhere, I think it is the right side manifold.

And I opened the hood yesterday to check the oil and the air filter snorkel was out of it's hole in the radiator support and laying down inside the back opening of the fan shroud, so I been driving it around sucking in hot air and lucky the fan didn't get a hold of it.. :shitsweak:

Bought a battery tray and tie down at PNP because mine is rusted/burned through and my battery is currently being held in place with bungee cords. Going to wire brush the surface rust off and paint it.

Also saw a 1979 owners manual and nabbed it in case somebody wanted it.

Found a used Class III trailer hitch on Dregslist. Bought it, and attached it to FRANKENTRUCK same day. Works great! Now maybe my license plate will not get all dinged up from the bumper hitch!
