Yeah those look like 4" lift springs in the before pic, if that's the front axle you used.

Oh yeah, I see them now, on the axle laying on the ground. So he installed 3/4 ton lift springs, not just OEM springs. I was going to say, hell, I won't need lift springs if I just put 3/4 ton springs on, but even 3/4 springs are negative arch.

I was also told that 1/2 and 3/4 ton lift springs in the front are the same. IF this is true, why do lift kit companies list 2 different part #'s?

I neglected mine again for another week. Kinda sucks it being in my dads barn, can't just drive it when ever I want. Next thing I might do is put a GMSB decal on it from Old77.

Yeah they had 4 inch springs already on them and blocks in the rear not sure if the rear springs are 3/4 or 1 ton cause of how manyy are stacked. The wheels are American Racing Torq Thurst II's that I had on my firebird before I sold it.

I'd love to run that size on my '86 Camaro because it really could use it, but I think it would take some surgery to make them fit.

Width is the same too right? I'd imagine the 3/4 tons are just a stiffer ride. You know a small block in a half ton and a small block in a 3/4 ton weigh the same. I'm pretty sure my 4in front lift springs are of 1/2 ton caliber. But, I fully intend to upgrade the rear springs on my K10 from 52 in 1/2 tons springs, to C20 56 in 3/4 springs by moving the rear spring hangers rearward using the factory OEM punched spring hanger holes and adding the 3in lift blocks so it should sit level to the front 4in lift springs. If anything, I might still be a little higher in the rear. Also going with 3/4 ton axles and driveshafts.
