How many miles hyou got on yours mine has over 270,000 and nothing has ever been done other then replacing the valve cover gaskets and a couple of water pumps.

This is the third vehicle this engine has been in since the early 80's. (72 Lemans, 73 Monte, My truck)
Front oil seal on the timing cover, and temp sensor(still working on it).

I cleaned and revealed my cowl today. There is no rust on this truck and sure don't want it to start.

I put a new wiper motor and blower motor on my square yesterday and the wipers still dont park in the right spot. Waiting on my tires to come in so i can ge the mounted on my rims i bought and get them on the truck.

I snagged a set of those Bosch wiper blades off a car going to Pull A Part for my truck. Those bitches work pretty damn good. Even wiped the snow off my truck pretty good today.

Got my inner fenders bead blasted and the extra bolt holes filled and then shot with epoxy primer.
Got the door hinges blasted and powder coated.

327 swap
Hi everyone, I'm new to the site. I just recently bought a 1979 Chevy Custom Deluxe pickup. It has the 250 I6 engine with an auto tranny. I have a 327 V8 I'd like to put in it and bolt to the auto tranny. The 327 has the old cast iron heads and intake. What can I do I have to do to have the power steering pump to be able to work with this engine? What other problems will I run into?
