Dead battery slowed me down..... damn you neverstart gold...... lol
It could be worse, the Optima red tops I am fond of buying is always dead in the T/A. I buy those batteries because I don’t want them to be dead in the off chance I feel like going for a ride. Twice the money and still no better than anything else.

2 words, battery tender. My junk sits outside so it’s to be expected I guess.

Sweet!!! What year are the brackets out of? I'm doing the whole truck Back and Red. Frame is Black, all the bushings are Red Polyurethane. The motor will be Black, and polished aluminum valve covers with red in lay. The fuel line will be stainless steal, with Black and Red AN fittings. I'm thinking about Chrome powder coat, with a transparent Red on the brackets, with black pulleys, or maybe the brackets black, with the pulleys chrome, and transparent red

Brackets are from a 97 vortec. That engine bay will look trick. Speaking of which what color are you going to do the sheet metal in the engine bay?

Finished up. They’re still wet but...silver was more silver than I expected. It was the only other high heat besides the black at my little podunk hardware store. I might shoot them black later. The look like new aluminum though. There’s also a couple casting boogers I missed getting with the sander that will need touching up.

Damn those came out real nice. As far as the engine bay, not sure yet what ever color I will paint the truck. More than likely semi-gloss black.
