All right guys i did it. Im in the middle of ripping the 91 tbi heads off. I have decided that the tbi system is junk on this truck. ALLLLL the wires are brittle and chewed on and rusty and just disgusting! so I'm just going to rob the heads. But what intake do i need to get to match my rochester? Also I'm assuming since I'm running the old cam just stick with the pushrods and rockers out of the 79 right? Also, is there a difference in head gaskets? will my 79 exhaust manifolds bolt on?

For TBI Heads, you can go with the Standard Edelbrock Performer, or OEM Pre Vortec 4bbl intake.

How did this work out? I may end up doing the same 87 TBI heads on a 78 carburetor 350.
