side marker

hey guys are the front fender marker lights on the 73-80 the same as the clearance light on the dually fenders on my 1986. please it will be nice if I get a quick response , since I am about to place an order . Thanks guys.

My initial response is no. But I am not familiar with all the little differences between the years. I just did a google search and it appears they are different. The older ones are vertical and the newer ones are horizontal. Maybe someone else can give you better info.

I think its the same light they are both vertical on the dually fenders and the front fenders , but I am not sure its the same

Do you mean the bulb size? Lens size?

Bulb size: probably the same 194/168 wedge bulb.

Lens size: I'll bet they're completely different since they're half reflective and the other half for a bulb. Also, they look thinner and a little more squared than the older marker lenses.

I meant the lens but I already found out the are the same. thanks

That's something I've always wondered. The lenses have a different reflector design molded into them, but the overall shape and size appeared to be the same.
