I've also used a couple different wheels that fit in a drill. They kinda look like a beefed up scotchbrite pad. I'll see if I can find a pic.

I like a sanding disc on a grinder. It makes quick work of it :)

Worked like a charm on the surface rust on my '86. Takes it right off without scratching the metal like a sander or wire wheel does.

cool! :waytogo: The sanding discs I used with my grinders did a good job of not scratching the metal either as long as I didn't apply a lot of unnecessary pressure on the disc. That rust and paint removal process was a tedious process!! I can't imagine when people did it by hand (without the use of power tools) back in the day! That would have been BRUTAL!

Good stuff! :High 5:

I actually need to pull the drain off the tub at home and clean up some rust starting around the hole and repaint it, lol. :shitsweak:

But I figured kill two birds with one stone, and use it for that and working on the Burb cancer later... :roflbow:

 For some of that cancer in the burb you'll also need a cut off wheel and just cut that crap out of there!

The list "Bucket" made forgot one thing " NEEDLE SCALER" invaluable tool, I peened my frame down with one gets in all the tight areas where discs and wheels cant get.... sure you can get almost the same effect with the air hammer and a point bit but it will take allot longer and the needle scaler works on thinner guage material It will work if the tub is cast iron lol
