does this look normal to you guys? This is the driveshaft that’s in my truck and that looks short to me.

It may look short, but how long is the slip yoke? Because if its 4" long and only 2" sticking out it's fine.

That being said I think the normal slip yoke is about 3". So, on a really hard brake it could pop out.

I guarantee that slip yoke isn't 10 inches long lol. Looks short. There's about an inch or so of tail shaft sticking out past the seal surface so it's got more bite than it looks. But still not good.

Every bit of lift unless its blocks below springs pulls shafts out from original location.

I'll go against everyone else and say that while the shaft could stand to be *maybe* 1 inch longer, it's fine how it is. The output shaft on an NP208 sticks out past the seal a fair amount, .75"- 1" from what I remember. There's still plenty of spline engagement despite what the seal surface makes it look like and it will work fine.

This truck have a 3 or 4 inch lift?

If there's insufficient engagement between the driveshaft and the bushing in the transmission, you'll feel a vibration at highway speed. Ask me how I know...
