I'm sure he has power windows too. I'd think he just has a window harness routing problem and the wires are getting pulled when he goes to low.

We say "put" the window down or "open" the window. Last time I heard somebody ask me to roll a window down or up was in my dad's '69 GMC, lol.

NIce to see you back LoG !!! We wondered what happened.

Yeah I have been tied up with the insurance company and such..they are doing an investigation on my hit-and-run situation. Someone hit my Z71 infront of my house, and they hit it hard enough that it ripped the rack and pinion apart and broke both upper and lower A arms on the passengers side. The insurance thinks I hit something and then drove it home and claimed a hit and run...so apparently noone at the USAA claims center knows much about vehicles..what a bunch of ******.

Anyway I think I figured out whats happening with the POWER windows & the radio. When the window goes all the way down it touches the wire coming off the speaker and it grounds out through the window motor..also the voltage going through the window motor is trying to go to ground through the radio. SO fuses have been an issue..my floor board is FULL of them!..yeah something was wrong. Anywho I rotated the speakers in the door so that the terminals faced a different way and it stopped doing it. My wife thought it was hillarious that the radio went off when the windows weren't just right... BTW I am missing all kinds of bolts and supports on the inside of my door INCLUDING the ones that arm rests would screw into.

I also found out that my blinkers only work when I hold down the brake..but thats another thread. lmao

I've never really gave it much thought, but I say 'roll the windows down' as well. That's how everyone says it around here. Lol.

Let's just give the poor guy a break. He never claimed to be a grammar major and he drives a boat more miles than he does his Burb, so he's not customed to having windows rolled up or down with or with out a hand crank or button.

I don't open my windows in the house. I hit the thermostat. You live in a grass hut don't you? So you don't have windows?
