O-ring for yoke

What do you call the o-ring on the output shaft of the slip yoke?

Is this something I can get at AZ or O'Reillys

Do you have the slip yoke out? If so, do the splines go all the way to the end of the yoke?

It's out. I posted in the rant forum but, someone was in the transmission before. It's leaking from the yoke. I bought I reseal kit for the output housing but they sent me the wrong thing. The only thing that fit was the bushing and housing output seal. But I need the o-ring that goes on the shaft for the yoke.

What does the inside of the yoke look like smooth at the end of splined to the end? The part that slides onto that shaft.

Where is it leaking at, the seal or the end by the u-joint??.

Are you sure, this was leaking out of the yoke.

When an O-ring is used the first part of the yoke is smooth. You may need a new yoke as it may have a crack in it if it's leaking from between the yoke and the U-joint.

Fair enough. We I'm resealing the tailshaft housing so I guess I'll know tomorrow.

Sucky thing is the kit I bought isn't for a 700. I don't know it's for because the bushing and output housing seal are correct. But none of the other seals are.

It may be TH350. Fixed yokes use an O-ring I wanted to add that before.

I just had to replace the yoke on my son's Tahoe because it was leaking .
