Does anyone know what the Over all length of a TH350 with a NP203 Transfercase is?

Or what the Over all Length of a 700R4 with a NP241 Transfer case is?

I am trying to figure out what I will have to do for a drive shaft to change from a 350 with a 203 too a 4L60E with a 241c?

I can measure mine next time I am under it and can remmeber to do it.

lol i can understand the remembering part, hell i have slid out from under a car to get a wrench only to grab a drink light a cigerette and slide back under it then I realize damn i forgot the wrench.

Actually hell if anyone has a truck that they have a 700R4 with a 241 transfercase maybe I can get you to measure how long your driveshaft is. Mine is a long bed with a 14 bolt FF Rear end and a Dana 44 Front Differential.

i can get you both measurements in a bit. my 60E/241 truck is parked right next to my 350/203 truck. LOL

Fairly certian the dimensions would be exactly the same as a 700r4/NP208 combo. I have that sitting in my driveway if you want me to get it.

Best to get an actual measurement from DHC or HRPC, the Hollander is giving me conflicting answers.

the 350/203 is ~45.5" from the bellhousing to the center of the rear output yoke. the 700(60E)/241 is ~47.5" from the bellhousing to the end of the output shaft seal.

Your truck that has the 700 with the 241 isnt possably a long bed 3/4 ton is it? If it is could you possably measure how long the drive shafts are from center of U-joint to center of U-joint? Hell if you dont mind could you measwure both trucks drive shafts lengths for me?

nope, its an extended short 1500, though it does have a 14SF in it.

~60 1/4" for the 350/203 in my 77, though it is a fixed yoke, and the driveshaft has a slip shaft built into it

~64 1/2" on my 94 ECSB, with a slip yoke at the output of the transfer case.

well crap was hoping your 94 was a Square Body Truck. I am trying to figure out what length of Driveshaft I am going to need if I go ahead and use a 4L60E in my 85

I am in the process of putting a fuel injected vortec 5.7 with a 4L60E and a NP241 PS Drop in the truck. Eventually It will have a 4L80E but gotta find another one
