I was running open diffs on both ends. The reason I opted to do the front first was the type of driving I do, crossing small creeks and pulling up slippery boat ramps. The momentum of the truck would get me most of the way across a creek but then I needed the front end to pull me out the other side. Same with the launch ramps, the rear tires were down in the moss & muck but the fronts were on dry land.

I was going to put a Tru Trac in the rear later but decided to just keep it peg-leg because I like the street manners of the open diff and I'm not getting stuck as it is.

I like reading some of these older posts.

Now i had an Auburn Locker in the rear this was an entire assembly..Sometimes when making a hard right or left and applying a little pedal the outside tire will chirp chirp chirp..called Auburn they said for what i bought 100% normal/I really thought spools were the only thing that did that.

Now i know what im doing in the front a little lunch box please..this is the big boy axle Dana 60 4 bolt BJ's..Im thinking 9.75 gear i know its 4.10 fresh Richmond gears
