Been kinda thinking of doin this to my guy 3+3 when I first seen one done I thought that it looked retarded but its really growing on me, I had an 89 stepside and defs was one of my.fav trucks so why not slap my two fav worlds together I think it'd be pretty cool to swap to half ton suspension and a 12 bolt rear end and get a set of factory rallys widened to stick a fat tire in those fat fenders. Whatta yea guys think?

Dont care for it myself. Maybe if the crew cab's 2nd doors were smaller it might look closer to proportional, but I doubt it.

I know its a whole lotta cab for that bit of box but like I said its starting to grow on me, best thing is if it didn't work out could always throw a shortbox on and it'd look good

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, not thinking I could get to excited about it. Different yes, but I'm not feeling the WOW factor on it. I"m thinking if it has to grow on you..... maybe it would get old quick too.

You should just put a fleetside bed on it. You may not realize it but those stepsides are like gold to the mud racing community.

That's my bed, lol. That truck was sitting on a trail in the woods behind the guy's house. I had to go wheeling back there at night with my 2wd Burb and 16 foot trailer. What a night:)

As far as the look... eh, it's alright. I don't think I'd ever do it unless it was a long stepside.

I say go for it. You can alwasy switch back to a fleeside shortbed if it gets old. I guess I just don't see the WOW factor in it, and you mentioned yourself ITS GROWING on you. That tells me, if it has to grow on you, then I just don't think you're really thilled about it yourself, but you've got the itch to do something drifferent and be one of the few with that set up. I like to be different too, that's why I am going to be putting an Olds 455 and a Variable Pitch Th400 in a square. I bet there isn't many of those out there.
