I had recently just replaced the ignition cylinder in my k5 and all was working well. Today i noticed that the ignition dose not lock, but the steering wheel will. I can turn the thing from "lock' all the way to start, and actually start the truck without the key in. I know these trucks are not very secure by any stretch of the of the imagination but i would like for it to be just a little harder to steal after you get past the door. Dose anyone know anything i can do before i just replace the whole cylinder again?
