I am a redneck farmboy from small village of 350 people on Homecoming day ahahahah. 26 years old, love GM, married, got two girls, and just bought a 1985 GMC C30 with a 6.2 and 4spd standard for to replace my older service truck. I am in the mobile tractor tire repair business so need a good ole truck to keep me going so bought this off my cousin, 110,000 origional miles!

Welcome! I got a friend from the Northern Territories from a place like you describe, Canada sounds pretty cool. Good score on the truck man, thats a clean truck AND its a 6.2 liter.

Welcome to GMSB. Nice low mileage project. I sure hope you're not letting that 58 get to far away either. :waytogo:.

Welcome. Nice find with the 85, there is just something about a 1 ton that grabs my attention. So what are you planning on doing with both your trucks?

Definatley keeping the 58, going to use it as a water truck, bought my great grandfathers farm and the well is shot so
have to haul water from 4 miles away in a 500 gallon tank. As for the 85 I will be putting my equipment from the 58
on it for doing mobile tire repair and mounting my air compressor under the hood of the 6.2 instead of running it off of
my welder.
