heater core replace

the trk has ac also, i am not seeing those 3 nuts on the firewall side that haynes manual to take off. Do i need to remove other stuff to get to them or maybe i am going blind. Haynes manual looks to be a waste of money

Yes, you need to unbolt the inner fender well and drop it down so you could get to them. Its a pain in the ass, I did mine last winter and this winter I am doing it again. I have not looked for a quality replacement for my newly replaced heater core but I would spend the extra money since this is a real pain in the ass.
