Dash parts, and engine bracketry

Looking for a couple of pieces for my project.

1) need the pocket that goes above tha hvac controls on a non ac truck.

2) looking for the passenger side dash trim for a NON ac silverado, 1987 vintage.

3) NON ac heat control levers, looking for some in better condition than what I have.

4) m1008 cucv passenger side alternator bracket for the 6.2 diesel. --Found--

I'm going to need to put some thought into that. It would be an easy decision if that's all I was needing for the truck, but there's a lot more to do before I get to that point. I did not expect they were that rare

Well you can get aftermarket ones from LMC if you dont care to use non/GM parts too. There is a premium market for scarce/obsolete NOS parts for sure!

There's a junkyard in Greenville called Bud's, that has about twenty squares rotting into the ground. If you're ever over in the central Mi area, it's worth a look because they still have most of their trim etc.

Yeah, ended up ordering the panel from LMC. Gotta say, the part does have a quality feel to it. Looks good, and has a nice weight to it. Final judgement to be passed when I put it into the dash, but I'm still thinking I'm going to find someone who can re-upholster the dash in leather, so as to wether it's a perfect copy for the factory piece, may not be crucial.

I went to an Amish boot store, Troyers in Fremont MI, if you have any over your way, give them a try.
