The PO had the bed lined with something and it ain't good. Liner has spots worn thru to paint in spots. Anyways, I'd like to do something about it. Preferably re-spray with something that gives a smooth surface like an untreated bed. As it is right now, there is no way I would want to put anything somewhat delicate in the bed for fear of the liner scratching it up. Or, some time down the road, I may get a tent topper (depends on the girl I'm dating at the time) for weekend lake retreats this summer. I don't think air beds would survive.

Anyways, what are my options? I'll post a pic later today.

Thanks!

That kind of looks like someone just sprayed a thin coat and called it good. In that pic I only see one spot on the driver side wheel well that looks a bit dangerous and that appears to be thick enough it can be scraped off. At least the sticking up part to where it would harm something.

Bead blast off. Contact a spray in bedliner company in your location and they can direct you to what can be done.

Wire wheel it, or get it hot with a propane torch and scrape it. Doesn't look like it will be easy no matter what.

Your best bet is going to be blasting, I had a bed done locally for 200 bucks, inside and out.

Well, that sucks. Maybe I'll install a drop-in liner to hide it.
