Chegny , to answer your question about the outside markers, I think that would be pretty cool. That's going to take some extra wiring. Too bad they don't make those lights in red. You could mount two to the rear of the cab also. Just thinking out loud.

Just out of curiosity, how do you guys fish the wiring in the cab for fitting the markers? I'm going from a cab with cab markers, to no cab markers. I'd like to mod the new cab to keep them, but I'm curious as to how I'd go about fishing the harness in it.

When I pulled my front fenders off I noticed that there is a small hole at the bottom front of the drivers windshield pillar. Im thinking maybe that's where you fish it down and then access the pillar from behind the dash ?

The factory harness on mine comes out where the sun shade is mounted inside the cab. lots of room for the wires.. From there it goes down the drivers side post under the plastic trim.

Remove the visor and there should be a hole in the roof where the spring goes.

You would have to do A LOT of fishing but it would be possible.

No what im asking/saying is that Trucks came factory with cab markers and no plastic pillar covers for the headliner so im pretty sure they did not have wiring running down the outside of the pillars for those trucks. ?

There is a space about 1" or so between the roof inside the cab and outside the cab. Also the pillars are hollow not solid.

So when you drill the holes in the roof for the lights you can if your good fish the wires down through the pillar to hook them up.

Exactly. GM must have wired trucks that way that came without the liner. I thought maybe they might have fed them down the drivers side rear pillar instead ?

If your trying to fish wires in between the skins use fishing line (yes real fishing line) and a vacuum to suck the line across.. Then tie your wires to the line and pull..
