Most of the time when I got into trouble for my mouth, I would get to go to USMCRDSD during Hell Week and push new recruits.

Recruit Depot San Diego?

Well it sure wan't San Francisco.

And to get back on topic, welcoming this young Marine to be, I wanted to make note that we recently had a discussion about those Edelbrock Pro Flow air cleaners. We came to the conclusion they are an extreme fire hazard, and I'd agree. You oughta consider a differant type air cleaner system. I know you can get those on eBay for cheap, and I beleive that is why they are cheap. It stands to reason. The one I have that thrown in on a intake and carb sale, also needs a new foam becuase it caught fire. I'm trashing it. Not even gonna give it to someone. Scrap metal.

Yep, as one member put it, one good sneeze form the Eddy carb, and its on fire. Or even 1 good carb backfire or a good flooding and a pop, it'll be smookin'. Not the kind of shookin' we want. They look cool, but just a hazard. We don't want any squarebodies burning down. I have a buddy with a Dodge, I think I'll give mine to him. :roflbow:

oh yes, and i wasnt driving her either...ok long story but might as well share, all started when i was 14, i got a truck from my grandpa, completely stock and beat to hell. me and my dad redid EVERYTHING! it was primer and ready to paint by this time i was 16 and ready to get my license, i finally got it and drove my truck around for 3 months. best time of my life. i met my gf i still have to this day in that thing, not to mention all the time me and dad spent putting her together... but it all came to an end one night, i was sleeping and all of a sudden mom comes running into my room..."SOMEONE HIT YOUR TRUCK" worst wake up ever, i walked out to this... it was totaled frame was bent bed side was messed up and the fender, bumper, and grill was trash... it was sad..
