awesome deal, I wished I could find one like that on the intake, I broke a tbi mounting bolt and had to helicoil it.

Saw a guy on another forum talking about his intake having a helicoil on each t-stat housing bolt.

from the looks of them 2 24 packs of BL you're ready to work.

Be sure to use antiseize on any bolts that are going into aluminum. A steel bolt in aluminum gall up and mess the threads up. Hell I use antiseize just about every chance I get anymore, unless it's something that needs thread locker.

on intake bolts it's good to use thread sealer or rtv to avoid oil seepage coming up thru the threads and laying in puddles on the intake.

After I pulled that intake, I saw another one already pulled laying in another truck, but it had been sitting in the weather and started to corrode a bit. I got real lucky finding this one. And I checked every threaded hole on both parts I found and they were in great shape. And I am glad you put it to me to at least try finding one. I had no idea these prices were so affordable. And only $2 to get in the gate.

One thig pisses me off though, I got my long awaited siver knob off a heater switch and borught it home and lost it before I can install it. :sad72:

Then in the entrance they had a few trucks for sale. One cool ass jeep stocker with a stick shifter, hard top, 4cyl and a new 4" lift kit. Clean frame. Really sweet.

And a 92ish looking Chevy C1500 extended cab short bed. Teal exterior, grey interior, very awesome. 185K, but looked really clean except for a dent in the drivers side. I did a feew laps around it wishing I could buy it, lol. And it was inspected until July.

Both were salvaged titled for sale for $1600 each. And both didn't have a spot of rust anywhere on them.
