Yeah, I was looking at them on Amazon and they were all rebuilt and from $200-300. So it's probably better to rebuild it myself than to pay that much for a rebuilt one anyway. Pull it this weekend and see what I got.

Welcome to the forum. If you do decide to have one rebuilt for your engine, you'll probably be much happier with the results, as opposed to some off the shelf rebuild that someone grabs and drops into a box. It's the difference between buying a bespoke suit and one off of a rack labeled "one size fits most".

does anyone know where I could get a new metal line that goes from the fuel pump to the carb? I asked the auto parts store and he told me that he'd never seen it before. So he doesn't think they carry them. I was trying to get to the filter in the carb and last guy tore it up with some vice grips or something so it was twisting the line itself and was afraid I would tear the line. I need a new one to use when I install my rebuilt carb.
