    Engine stalling issue

Well, after lots of head scratching and part swapping, I figured it out. The PO installed a "kill switch" and it was under the carpet on the drivers side. The connections were loose which was causing the stalling. When I put my foot to the floor, it was restoring the connection enough to run...

1986 K10 305, Edelbrock carb with electric choke Guys, I bought this truck in February. It recently got a new Accel distributor and has been running great for several weeks. Last week, while running down the highway, noticed the engine miss for a second. Didn't think much of it until I came...

    Oil Cooler...factory option?

Was an oil cooler a factory option on a 1986 K10? My truck has one and the cooler itself was not mounted professionally. Just wondering if I should keep it and try to remount it to specs or to DC it. Thanks in advance.. Bob

Trying to fix PO's wiring mess

I recently purchased my '86 K10 and noticed the blower was on whether the ignition was on or not. I found where the PO had run power for the blower directly to the fuse panel in one of the empty slots. He used a 20 amp fuse which was all distorted and melted but still worked. See pic. I...

You can ride as mild or as wild as you want. I cruised the perimeter of each area and watched them hill climb, mid, and rock crawl. Fun day of watching other guys wreck their stuff! $25 gets you in plus you must have flag up front.

lol...thanks Bob. Yeah, same lift. I prefer the tires to fill up the wheel wells more but I get plenty of clearance for the light off-roading I do, so I'm happy. Ever been to Bundy Hill in Jerome MI?

Whats up Bob! I'm in Three Rivers, grew up in Kentwood though and have family and friends in GR. Small world! Sharp truck. That's exactly the look I'm after. I do want stock rims though. What's the min. width to handle 12.5s? No I didnt put the lift on. I just bought the truck from AZ two...

    New guy from Michigan

Hey guys, I just picked up a 1986 K10 from Arizona that I plan on wrenching on with my teenage son. I don't have much experience but enjoy being in the garage and tinkering. I like the stock look of the Squarebodies with maybe a 2 inch lift and somewhat aggressive tires that fill the...
