Unknown under hood wire

Does anybody know what this wire is for? It was connected to my distributor.. 1986 K10

Looks like it was either some hacked in ignition power source for the dizzy or a hacked in tach wire. From the drivers side looking at the distributor the power feed goes on the right towards the firewall and the tach goes in the left toward the radiator
