4.10 to 4.56 or 4.88
1986 K10. 290hp 350 with mild cam and headers. 700r4 trans. 4" lift 35" tires. Currently running Dana 44 front, Corp 14 rear, both 4.10 gears. Gutless wonder constantly hunts between 3rd & 4th on even the slightest inclines. Prolly due to about 2k rpm. Frustratingly anemic and 6-8mpg...- fallguy

290hp 350 heads upgrade?
Thanks for the comments. 700r4, 4.10 gear, 35" tires....on purpose so none of those factors will ever be changed. But the heads will be. What about dart iron eagle or Motown 220 heads? I think due to cost and the switching of parts I should steer clear of vortex so I can reuse the edelbrock...- fallguy

Power window separated relay
On a FB page I was seeing allot of chatter about adding a separate relay for each window switch, thereby increasing the overall function of the I does and it operates very fast and smooth like a modern day vehicle......this particular chat was about a suburban but..... Problem solved.....summit brand ceramic headers! Awesome fit and easy to deal with!!! Modified bracket and spacer/bolt from hardware store. Clearance underneath (4" lift)- fallguy

EPIC FAIL! Removed plugs, wires, bumper stop bracket, support rod from starter to transfer case, dipstick tube, starter and front drive shaft. Also cut back exhaust pipe to make room...fit like a glove...ON A F**KING FOOT! All that was in the way was an engine and a frame and whether I came...- fallguy

Ok, I'll take your word for it. I've wire wheeled off all the old paint, ordered my copper gaskets and reducers....now I'll paint them with rattle can VHT brand header ceramic paint (good up to 2000F)....1 can per header.- fallguy

Inner fender replacement?
Both inner fenders rusting out at the triage piece with three bolts...whatever the hell they thought that was good for I'll never know! Anyway do I have to remove the whole outer fender too or can I just replace the inner? -

700r4 Park shift & grind
Totally rebuilt tranny. Randomly grinds (quick second worth of time) into gear when shifting into Park (bout 3x in a month). Now yesterday wouldn't hit Park...started Rollin down incline. So ran shifter thru gears then back into Park. Still kept rolling. Parked on flat spot, drove a few...- fallguy
