    Headers

I really appreciate the feedback. I'm surprised at how many vendors sell the header sets without collectors. I'll be sure to save up some more and go with something thicker. @Frankenchevy, I am seriously looking forward to your opinion on these because I might copy your purchase depending on the...

    Headers

Hey folks, I'm finally getting to some fun stuff. I'd like an honest opinion on what headers are the quickest to install on a bone stock 1978 C10 with power steering and no A/C. I'm looking for something under $200 (before shipping) and something somewhat easy to install, 'cause this fella has...

Time to change valve stem seals

My poor old guy started blowing blue smoke when he fires up. Looks like it's time to replace the seals. I really want to avoid taking off the heads but I don't have easy access to an air compressor to keep pressure in the cylinders. I have an air tank that holds pressure but it's a little puny...

    Unique turn signal/brake light issue

@75gmck25 - Through this taillight journey I was able to find all of the grounds you mentioned and have cleaned up all those connections save for the white wire behind the license plate. No extra ground there. Everything else is shiny and snugged tight. I appreciate you very much for the...

    Unique turn signal/brake light issue

@gpmorgan - without you long haul drivers we wouldn't have the goods we need so thank you. Update on the brake light for you and @Honky Kong jr - The added ground helped as it exposed the real issue. Adding the ground gave me a low beam tail light when I applied the brakes and flipped the left...

    Unique turn signal/brake light issue

@gpmorgan - Less than 40 minutes actually. I live just south of Annapolis at the mouth of the South River into the Chesapeake. Edgewater, otherwise known as Rustville, heh... Well met. You live close by?

@gpmorgan - Thanks very much. I'm not seasoned in restoration by any means so your help is really appreciated.

    Unique turn signal/brake light issue

@gpmorgan - Yep I have to agree. Not looking forward to that job. Would either of you have a suggestion for my ground location? I was thinking of adding another eyelet and wire to my driver taillight ground. It's a new screw and eyelet and I put it against clean metal.

I'll try that bright and early. I appreciate it.

    Unique turn signal/brake light issue

Alright ladies and gentlemen... I developed a lag on my 78 C10's turn signal. Both the parking lamp and side marker lamp on the driver's side blink together very slowly or not at all when the left turn signal is engaged. If the running lights are off, the left turn signal works, but they blink...
