    original set up in an 86 is carburated. old motor had the fuel pump on the block. new motor is a gen 6 454 big block, no fuel pump set up on the block. considered running a frame rail pump just near the tank and enough pressure to get up to the carb with correct fuel amount supply.

    im rebuilding a '92 454 gen 5 BB and its going in a 86 gmc. this generation BB has no mechanical fuel pump. how do i set up my fuel system Ie: external fuel pump, regulator, etc. motor is staying stock with 750 double pumper. this truck will stay carb'd with no computers.

    i got my daily driver ready for a 4" lift kit using springs and no blocks. the only thing i have to consider is i will be using a slide in camper a couple weeks out of the year. iv seen a lot of half ton trucks hauling slide in campers and the back end of the truck sags. i want to avoid this...

    quite true, 83kid, everyday i pass a newer truck jacked up and tires sticking out and no one bats an eye. from what ive noticed is people running commercial plates to get there truck to pass. 33's and a 4 inch kit will do just fine until i get out of maine and into nh, then the only rule there...
