Oh deer, I have a new dent in the ugly truck. All is good, no one hurt except the drivers door has a dent in it. Squares seem to hold up well to that stuff.

Just to drive it down the streets and catch all the girls checking out the ol' girl. The rumble of the 350 compared to the dead smooth straight six that I'm used to driving

Replaced the steering coupler today. Now it feels like a smoother truck. Way more smooth on turns and overall a lot more predictable driving.

Sent from the dust in front of you!

Didn't consider the Jeep steering shaft mod huh? You'll like it just as much and it will stay firm and not get loose as the rag joint wears and get's brittle and squishy.

all ball joints on the front done today.

tomorrow will be swapping front right caliper out since it is frozen, and reassembling the axles.

broke a brand new axle ujoint installing it today, cap just popped the top off when pounding it in that last little bit. argh. acdelco premiums, probably just rebranded moogs. should have just got spicers i think.

if i can get all that done, i have new window seals to finally install and vent windows (been waiting like 4+ months for that!)

You sure it's a frozen caliper and not a collapsed rubber brake line to the caliper? If you crack the air bleed zerk and the caliper releases then it's the hose.

Not this go around. I wanted to see if this would change my steering. Next time I'm at the yard I'll probably get the jeep shaft.
