Windshield squirter does not work when intermittent module is connected.

On my way ‘85 C10, I’ve been going through the windshield wiper system. For years, I assumed the squirter was broken, but when I hooked up the wiper switch straight to the harness without the intermittent module, it works. I feel inclined to blame the module, but the delay function still works when it’s connected. Is my problem in the module or somewhere else? Thanks.

Interesting. My sprayer doesn't work either. It has 12v at the pump but the button does nothing.
Wonder if mine is the same way - I would never have thought about this.

I have an issue on my 1990 burb where the wiper switch won't engage the washer when it is cold out. assuming something shrinks up and losses contact. I tapped in an intermittent button switch upstream of the module and use that when it is cold. since I tapped upstream of the module, the wipers also kick on and run like they are supposed to.

if the module is bad, you could tap the wires downstream of the module, but the wipers won't come on with the button.

or just replace the module....cause it seems to be the problem. that keeps it all as GM intended.
