Hey ya'll wondering what's a good set of rotors to buy for my 84 c10.

Will be doing some racing but not much at all.

Was wanting to get drill and slotted and according to the reviews they are not that great. Basically jus for looks.

I do not know which ones to buy. Was gonna get some from oreily's.

What a ldo ya'll suggest.

Also was going to get new calipers. Any negatives on re manufactured ones??

Thanks.

I'd stick with AC-Delco or Raybestos rotors, they both seem to be of good quality. I personally like Raybestos the most but thats just me. I'd get your calipers from a local store (advance auto has a 20% off online coupon) in case they give you trouble.

Dont forget you will need new bearings/seals when you do the rotors!

I buy my parts at O'Reilly AND used to work there! Avoid the yellow box, "made in mexico" rotors at all costs. The one years? Terrible. I have been pleased with the lifetime - Brake Best - I think they are Raybestos? I sell them to my customers too, no worries.
:pRO TIP: - remove them from the box IN STORE and have them turned. Bet the manager they are crooked out of the box and if they are.... he will turn them for free!

I wanted to buy quality, and if possible, American made. I scored big with a set for my C-20 8 lug truck from "Brake Performance" out of Chatsworth Ca. Not only were they made "in house", they were a bolt on. their quality is far superior to most china made junk that's SOOO cheap! and temptingly available at most auto shops and ebay...BUT! dont be fooled, and dont mess around with cheapies!!
