This is a Monster SS TH350 . Built for mud drag racing. I have been running it hard for 3 years . It has a full manual reverse valve body With trans brake,4,500 stall FTI converter. I spray 250 hp NOS Fogger with a BBC 454 somewhere around 800 hp.
yesterday wile racing made 3 runs all where fine my fastest time in the truck 3.239 200 ft.. Then going down the track I shifted into second and it stayed in first . Hmm I was thinking ? First i thought the Band M shifter skipped a tooth . sprayed it up worked it up and down it looks fine .
Went up for another pass class 6 same thing no second . this time i shifted it to 3rd and i don't remember if i feel it going in . So before i kill it i parked it Day over. pulled off a 3rd place run .
today I dropper the pan . oil looks red and i didn't see any metal. I did see a piece of red clutch materiel 3/16 square. very little black dust .
I will be doing a pressure test. If its bad I am thinking of rebuilding it my self.
any ideas ?
There is no kick down cable,or vac. hose because its full race setup.
