Truck idles fine but when I’m driving it will start kind of limping and it stalls out. If I’m gentle on the throttle it seems to not happen. Any ideas where to start?

Not enough information but sounds almost like a fuel delivery issue:
Carb type?
Any work recently done?
Fuel pump leaking?
Fuel filter clogged/ replaced?
Have you done a vacuum check?
Fuel pressure check?
Choke opening fully?
PCV system ok?
Bad choke pull off on carb?

Guys here will want a boatload of info...

My guess is somethings broken. All I can gather with the info provided. And that's like our 3rd great introduction of the day. No hi I'm Mike , great to be here I've got a 77 c10 blah blah I'm having a problem with, He** This guy didn't even say hi. I'm done. If it's too much trouble to even say hi before asking for help,it's too much trouble for me to want to help.

old time problems:

in addition to what @Sad Sack typed. Old gas can do that. varnish like goo makes the carb barely work.

mine is new to me, it had been parked for a long long time with full gas tanks: first thing I did was dump a can of seafoam into each tank, then hand pumped the tanks down and put some new gas in. (burned up the old stuff in my daily drivers). my 4 barrel carb and choke need some professional looking at too (someone that eats and sleeps OEM and aftermarket 4barrel to see if it was never set right for years). runs fine one day, next gummy. (too fast, too slow, just right, )

I just hit this in the similar threads window below this post (lots of good ideas it seems):
