Was my late (died in 2011) brother in law’s last “trucklette”. 1994 2.3L/5spd 2wd, standard cab short bed. Shipped with the “deer track” 14” alloys, I normally ran 1992 Sport alloys, Outlaw 2 clones.

Being a 5x4.5” bolt pattern, opens up back to the 1930s for wheel choices. That crust bucket is an original 1978 Lil Red Express 15x7, and I have all 4… They were on the 69 D100 (green junker) at purchase in Sept 2004. And so was that LT235/75r15… :)

No idea what this wheel orinally fit, as Lisa’s parents and brother had Ford cars, Danger Rangers, campers, etc. It fits for now. The Lil Red Express wheels will be cleaned up for my 1949 Dodge.

30” or so front ground clearance on those height adjustable ramps. Have to pull the transmission, for a full clutch job. Disc, pressure plate, master/slave/line, pilot bearing, resurface the flywheel…

Sitting since 2017. Engine turns over fine, in tank fuel pump is deceased.

Still working on Ralph, waiting for more parts to arrive.
Still working on Whiskey Bent, the 99 K3500 c&c standard cab dually. Need to cut the rear support welds and pull the flatbed, tbi pump swap the front tank for the carburetor conversion. If you ever feel the urge to run a Vortec 350… Don’t.

Seeing that purple truck, that is the trucks we got for fleet vehicles at my previous work, they squatted with 4-5 gallon buckets in the back. We called them trucklings. One of our co-workers was a 6'7"-6'8" tall skinny hippy dude, and his knees were up in his chest when driving one of those. For highway driving they were fine, but not really made for truck things from what we discovered.

Lisa is 5’5”, Shelby is 5’2, I’m 6’2”. They fit, I don’t. Truck has a fully rebushed rear suspension, new Monroes. Was on Rockauto last night, can actually order 1750# rear packs for these toys… I have this 94, a wrecked 92 lwb parts roach, Shelby’s 97 2.3/5spd and Shelby’s 07 4cyl/auto. F/R load assists are still available as well.

I have a set of 1992 Sport fiberglass monolear rear springs. Plan was always a slight lowering, good 225/70r14s, ceramic brake pads, and a PINTO intake-2bbl-points distributor. Now? Just a basic 4 banger parts runner, that will get heavier duty rear springs if deemed necessary. Already replaced all the lights, both coils, all 8 plugs/wires, yep, it’s one of “those” 2.3 Lima engines.
