Welcome from Houston, nice to see Classic Truck plates on a classic truck. Love it when they get to stay in the family (we had to sell our squares, and I would love to have Dad's 75 GMC Sierra Classic back).

Welcome from the Tarheel State, Lucas. That looks like a fantastic ride you have and I'm partial as it is the same color as my dad's truck that he bought new in 79. He too was a logger and put over 400K miles on the C20 while he was alive. Come on in and have a good look around.

Hello everyone.my name is Lucas i was born and raised in Vermont but now have lived in Texas for the better of a decade.Ive been lurking for a little bit decided i join in and say hello.my 1987 chevy silverado v10 truck is something that is very sentimental to me.my grandfather had bought it brand new in 1987 and was his work truck he drove daily as i was growing up.sadly he passed away last year and i had the opportunity to bring it home.he had took really good care of over the years in the salty winters of new england.he put plastic over the carpets and oil undercoated the hell out of the underbody which preserved it extremely well.truck only has 95000 miles and it is bone stock unmolested and runs beautifully.i nicknamed it the Logger as he was a logger since he was a teenager all the way to his 80's before retiring.i have been slowly restoring the truck with new old stock parts from what i can find online and look forward chatting with you guys and gals about your trucks and fixing them up.
Welcome from VT! Very nice looking truck and great story!!
