Thank you sir. Exactly what I'm looking for. Mine is almost the same color scheme except for the cream at the bottom. But the main color is a couple shades darker than yours.

100% honest... yes i do still have it but its spoken for and awaiting delivery. Im sorry about that! If it makes you feel better it wasnt in too nice of shape. I do have the other one pictured though. I will also keep my eyes open for another. Thats a popular grille!

I appreciate that my friend and thank you for getting back to me. Ive had the damndest time finding one and Im sure you know they only made that grille for the 83-84 year so its a very limited supply of anything that's left. I do have a similar repop to the other one you have posted but an original with the GMC is my white whale at this point. Let me know if you come across any and I will be more than happy to purchase. Thanks again.

No problem! I enjoy helping people find parts, especially since i work in a scrap yard. I try to save every good part i can but most times thats a huge task.

As you’ve discovered, The ‘83 ‘84 GMC Grille is almost impossible to find.
I put an ‘85 Grille on an ‘84 and it doesn’t look too bad!
I kept the ‘84 headlight bezels.

Impossible seems like a lite term compared to this task lol. That 85 grille looks sweet. I guess I can broaden my searching terms. Thank you for the heads up my man!

The last ‘84 I saw on eBay sold for $500 :(
and it was a base model (less attractive emblem)

You used to be able to get a repop without a provision for the emblem
but the manufacturer discontinued it.

You would think a place like LMC or USA1 would locate/buy the mold to remake them again. Wonder who it was that made them?

For what people are paying for the rear aluminum panels are going for, these would be a money maker.
