Hello all. This morning when I started my truck it shut itself off within 20 seconds. Hasn't turned over since, it just cranks and cranks like its getting so spark or fuel. I poked around and didn't see anything abnormal, I set a spark plug against the alternator bracket and watched as I cranked it, I didn't see a spark but without help its hard to manage. So I tested the ignition coil, the secondary winding didnt give a reading so I replaced it.
Still no start, so I tested the pick up coil and it failed, so I replaced it but still nothing. Had the control module tested and it passed.
I'm just waiting for a second set of hands at the moment. Going to double check spark and fuel. Also notable is that the fuel pump is three months old.
It seems like its the control module but it passed the bench test. Not sure how reliable that is. Any other ideas on things to check or parts I havent considered?
