So I converted my 1988 cclb r20rear to dually and I am really happy with the way it trueness out. I have decided to try to do the front. What all do i need to make this change and what year trucks will work? A guy down the road has a 88 but it not a classic square body would the hubs work off of it?

I can't say for certain, but I think you just need dually rotors from another square body truck. I don't know if you can use them from the newer style, at minimum they have metric studs.

Just swapping in rotors would be great if that's all it takes.

From what I remember it's just a rotor swap on a C30. A C20 may or may not have a different spindle/bearings, BUT a crew cab C20 is basically a C30 just with lighter springs. So you should be golden.
