the rear weatherstrip is bad on my suburban tailgate. one side is actually torn and lettong water in. and I think a little water is also getting past the molded section that connects the rubber to the upper window channel on the other side.
I have ordered a new part, but cant find much out there in regards to installation videos and I couldn't find the procedure in the service manual.
it seems like it is a single piece all the way around - clip on rubber, a small screwed in section that molds the rubber to the upper window channel. I will know more when the part shows up.
anybody have any tips, tricks, or knowledge on this that might help me before I dive into it?
