stock tire size

ok guys heres my question. i have a 82 silverado swb. i wont to put the correct tire size on it . door plate says lr60 15. what size is that using todays system. thnx harv82

Roughly 235/75/R15.

When I worked at a tire store in the 80's these trucks came in with 205/75/15 on plain steel wheels and 235/75/15 on the 8in rallys.

Not a good idea, you need an 6-8in wheel for a 235/60, you can run a 275/60, 295/50 on a 10in wheel.
