It's a mk4 2.0 5 speed but I'm going to convert it to the vr6 6 speed here when I have some time. It's going into storage for now, but when I get it back out... that's happening.

I helped a garage friend with one of those VR6 ....the plastic teeth in the timing had disintegrated, and it needed 4 live hands to get into it. ....so make sure to do the whole timing kit while its out and on a stand. ...what royal pain, (I think it was a 130,000 mile 20 year old 2003 quartro passat, with the timing belt and the timing chain,...still pretty minty, but the plastic guide teeth just got hard and brittle,...did not ruin itself though)

I have it out of the donor car at the moment. I did the timing chain, tensioners, serpentine belt, etc. This are also known for the "crack pipe" which i replaced. Along with the clutch and a few other things. I'm thinking it'll be a great drive once the swap is done.

you can put the GTI VR6 badges on too. (not sure if you want to advertise though)

and get some german beach boys for a sound track
