Well, got the old 350/700R4 pulled. The LS3 should be arriving in a week and I have the 4L80E at home now.

I've got Dirty Dingo motor mounts, Hooker long tube ceramics, Holley trans crossmember, TCI trans control, electric fans and a few other goodies including audio equipment. I will also be Dynomatting the entire truck.

Here's a pic of the last time the old girl will run under factory power. I'll need to paint the saddle tanks at some point too.

Nice! You puttin a carb on it? Just curious because you mentioned the trans controller. If your not going carb, the ECM that controls the engine will control the transmission as well.

Maybe go ahead and do the 30 gallon rear tank conversion while your doing the swap? I decided to do that since my saddles dont have baffles in them.

Sorry for the late reply! I was originally told I couldn't control the 4L80E with my LS3 combo without a separate trans control. I'm now going to run a PSI Conversion engine/trans harness.

I'm staying fuel injection. Going to run the Holley Retrofit in tank fuel pump on one of my saddle tanks for now. I will definitely convert to a rear mount tank in the future!
