It turns out the rocker panels I bought 25 years ago were slip on. Can they be used as a replacement?

I finally had the time to look the site over and found the body section. Could a moderator move this thread to that section, please?

Moved.

It depends on your definition of "slip-on". Some people install a replacement rocker right over the rusted original. It's not right, but it is possible.

Do your new rockers include the lower door jamb area, as well as the front pillar area that the fender bolts too?

Previous owner installed the rockers and door sills right over the rotted ones on my truck. If they would have finished the job and welded it right behind the cab, youd never know. But they didn't, and now I have to finish it

The rockers I have go from the cab corner all the way to the lower door hinge and have the hole in the lower corner.

Once I download, I will post some pics. I am winging this and I want to do it right.

Some more pics of what needs to be repaired. I have the cab rolled back to fix the floor support.
