Finally buffed my 2000 Z28. Took me six hours of sweating to get it done. Dont NEVER buy a black vehicle. The battle is for real. Now im hoping for a 10 second time slip at LS Fest here soon.

that reminded me of something:
one of my cousins husbands had a 1969 camaro RS, with hide-away headlights.
that he got for repayment of a loan. (it was a nice roller that needed a engine / trans and paint.)
years go by,...

ends up cherry red metallic. with GMC catalog things for good quarter mile times.
some kind of hot 350/350 trans and I forget the rest of the specs. dude was a giant like 400-500lbs. and used a walker with a seat. takes it to Englishtown NJ ("raceway park") to see how fast it can go. turned one pass at 9.98, they gave him the slip and said..."come back when you have racing seat-belts, a roll cage, and a transmission shroud"

insurance company estimated that at $35,000 for replacement value back in 2005 or so. (inspector said he was very impressed by the paint)

and...you got yourself there a 25 plus year old classic.
