Rocking North Dakota with a diesel

Hello to all my friends. Anyone here from North Dakota? I live in the western part of the state where all that oil is. I am 15 years old and I just got a 1986 Chevy c30 2wd with a 6.2l diesel, a 3speed automatic ( i think i just got that from the glove box), duals in the back, 4.10 gears, and a crew cab for all my gear and friends. Now if anyone here is from North dakota you all know that its kinda nuts to buy a 2wd right before winter starts, but i have plans to buy a set of chains and that always did well with a 2wd truck we had before. This truck, however, is not the first square body i have know and come to love. My family ( we live on a dairy farm but stopped milking years ago, still have 40 head of cattle) own a 1987 3/4 ton with a 350 sbc in it. I have many things to ask but first i thought i would put alittle out there about my truck as well as myself.

Also, I paid 1000 dollars and it only has 119k on it. Is this a good deal? just needs some front brake work thats gonna cost me 150 dollars

yep that's a very good deal! You should turn it into a 4x4

I do plan too someday!! I have thought of many things I can do to it. I am into towing mainly. A tranny cooler install is up top right now. But a 4x4 and manual tranny swap are up there too. Right now I'm fixing the brakes and gonna install a goose neck and get rocking. I start driving soon
