Rear disc conversion on a 1/2 ton 2wd with a 10 bolt?
I have to do the rear axle seal on my 86 1/2 ton.
I found this thread in this forum about converting to rear disc on the cheap:

Has anyone done this on a 2wd drive? I would think it would somewhat easier to do on a 2wd setup.
In checking to confirm my leaky axle seal I need to do the drums and shoes.
This guy in the thread I posted above said the conversion worked out to be cheaper. I have a pick n pull very close to grab calipers and brackets etc.
There are options for ebrakes, so I'm not worried about that.
Someone on here has to have done it...
